Cox, Curtis to visit US-Mexico border amid debate over border bill

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox and Rep. John Curtis are planning trips to the southern border next week as congressional Republicans appear to have soured on talks for a bipartisan budget deal. Curtis, a member of the House Committee on Natural Resources, will visit the border and attend a field hearing titled “Biden’s Border Crisis: The Consequences of Failing to Secure Federal Border Lands” in Sierra Vista, Arizona, on Feb. 8.
