The Wasatch County Republican Party is hosting a Meet Candidates forum Saturday morning in the Heber City Police Department Community Room. This will be a great opportunity for residents to meet the candidates running for Heber City Mayor, Heber County Council, and Republican Congressional District 3.

I said I'd reinvent town halls, and I intend to! Come and experience a different approach to citizen engagement on August 8th at the Velvet Room at Thanksgiving Point. Doors open at 6:30 pm. There will be limited seating so make sure you get there early to ensure a spot!

Dinner and Debate for the Republican Candidates running for United States House of Representatives in Congressional District 3 (Chaffetz seat). This is the only debate in rural Utah and will cover rural issues. Tickets for dinner are $15/plate.

Hosted by The Salt Lake Tribune and the Hinckley Institute of Politics, the debate is slated for 7 p.m. at the Utah Valley Convention Center, 220 W. Center St., Provo. The GOP candidates will answer questions and offer rebuttals on public lands, education and the international role of the United States (including interactions with Russia).
Attendees, to be capped at 500, can submit questions for the hourlong event using #UT3debate on Twitter.

Americans for Prosperity, a conservative nonprofit organization, is sponsoring the forum at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11 at the Covey Center for the Arts in Provo.
No advertising for candidates will be allowed inside the building, including signs, stickers, pins, T-shirts or other materials.
Join John and a small group of business and community leaders for breakfast. John will share what he hopes to accomplish in Congress and ask for input on the issues that matter most to you.
